Late Policy
You have a 15-minute grace period. Arriving within those 15 minutes will incur a $20 late fee. After 30 minutes total, your appointment will be rescheduled.

No need to arrive with clean hair. Every service includes a professional shampoo with conditioner — we prep you from start to finish.

Client Education

Part of getting great hair is understanding it. Here at The Tea Shop, we believe an educated client is a happy client — so we spill the tea on everything you need to know.

Know Your Hair Type▼
Understanding your curl pattern (2A–4C), porosity, and density helps you choose the right products and services. We'll walk you through it at your consultation.
Silk Press Aftercare▼
Sleep on a satin pillowcase, wrap your hair nightly, and avoid humidity for the first 48 hours. Moisture is your silk press's biggest enemy — we'll show you how to protect it.
Install Maintenance▼
Keep your scalp moisturized, don't leave installs in past their lifespan, and come back for your maintenance appointment. Your natural hair health always comes first.
Color Care at Home▼
Use sulfate-free shampoo, wash in cool water, and invest in a good bond repair treatment. We'll recommend products specific to your color service.
When to Come Back In▼
Silk press: 4–6 weeks. Color: 6–8 weeks. Sew-ins: 6–8 weeks max. Cuts: 8–12 weeks. We'll rebook you before you leave the chair so you're always on schedule.
